Mission Statement

At Dandelion Death Services, we are dedicated to compassionately guiding individuals and their loved ones through the sacred journey of death. Drawing inspiration from my personal experience with my father’s illness and passing, I am committed to providing emotional, practical, and spiritual support tailored to each unique situation. From easing the complexities of paperwork and end-of-life planning to fostering meaningful connections during life’s final chapter, my goal is to help create a peaceful, healthful, and beautiful transition for all. Together, we honor life by embracing its end with grace, dignity, and love.
“The sun, the moon, the wind, the stars, will forever be around, reminding you of the love you shared, and the peace they have finally found.”
services offered

Reiki: A practice providing relaxation and well-being to individuals who are dying. Reiki is known to ease both physical and spiritual discomfort. Sessions are also available for loved ones.

End-of-Life Planning: Support through all the decisions that must be made when approaching death. I help clients establish preferences and maintain comfort for their final days, assist with coordinating funeral rites, and outline wishes for post-death body care (burial, cremation, donation, etc.).

On-Call Support: My clients are welcome to contact me for support at any time throughout the dying process. This could be a need for my presence during the final hours of a clients life or for support during a sudden emergency.

Fulfilling Final Wishes: One of my main goals as a Death Doula is to make sure individuals pass on feeling complete and at peace. I do this by fulfilling my clients final wishes. This could be anything from a final meal they wish to have once more to recording their life story on paper or film.

Guidance & Counseling: I offer personalized guidance sessions to provide emotional and spiritual support during the profound journey of dying and grieving. These sessions focus on helping individuals come to terms with their mortality, fostering acceptance, and preparing for the experience of death. Together, we explore fears, wishes, and reflections, creating a space of peace and understanding. I also provide support for family and friends, offering tools and compassionate guidance to navigate their grief and find meaning in their experience.

Paperwork: Grief is hard enough without the tedious nature of paperwork. I guide individuals through the filling out of forms such as DNRs and the POLST/MOLST.

Bereavement & Grief Support: If desired, I remain connected with friends and family after their loved one has passed. I provide grief support in the form of individual or group counseling sessions and rituals to aid those experiencing grief.

End-of-Life Rituals: Many people wish to perform end-of-life rituals before death has occurred. This can be a powerful practice that takes many forms and is always customized to the client and their loved ones.

Funeral Rites: I am an ordained Priestess available to officiate funerals. After learning the religious beliefs and wishes of the dying individual and their loved ones I plan and lead a custom funeral service to create a safe space for the dead to depart and loved ones to grieve.

Support & Self Care for Healthcare Workers: The nurses and employees who work every day at hospices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals need and deserve support. These individuals are on the front lines of full time care and often forget to care for themselves. I aim to provide support to these healthcare workers through events and gatherings that encourage self care and wellbeing.
